Successful candidates will be high energy self-starters who have strong decision making skills and can work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will establish and value lasting client relationships. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations at D3, and will require up to 50% travel, primarily domestic and internationally as needed. California Employers Association is the recruiter for this opportunity at D3. Job Responsibilities Oversee and direct D3 projects from conception to completion. Review and analyze drawing sets from clients during all project phases. Requests for Proposal (RFP); Construction; Installation; Close-Outs/As-Builts. Attend project meetings during all project phases including RFP/Pre-Sales Meetings. Develop a responsibility matrix and draft sub-contract scope of work for projects. Train, mentor, and supervise Field Technicians. Also, provides oversight for all D3 subcontractors. Manage install-related issues to point of client acceptance. Negotiate, contract, and coordinate with direct workers and subcontractors including; architects, installers, engineers, sign companies, vendors, construction, Union and other workers. Manage internally and with 3rd party vendors. Oversight in securing of building permits and licenses, and the delivery of materials/equipment to project sites. Perform additional duties as required. Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree (preferred)-in a construction-related field, such as building science, construction management, electrical, mechanical, business management, or civil engineering. Will also consider candidates with extensive and relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years construction-related work experience. Construction Project Manager Certifications (preferred). Proficiency in software programs including: Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel; Visio, Solidworks, and AutoCAD (preferred) Independent and discretionary decision making skills. Able to work with minimal supervision. Experience utilizing analysis and logging tools in the field. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Skilled problem solver. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Capacity to handle dynamic and challenging situations professionally. Excellent communication skills both orally and in written form. Meets physical demands required to perform essential job requirements; will be required to bend, reach, lift and use hands, sight and hearing. Able to work from a ladder, at various heights, including on aerial platforms Ability to travel between 30-50%. Possess a valid driver s license and valid passport or application in process within seven (7) days of start date. Flexibility in schedule is needed, as at times there may be irregular or extended work hours. Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary up to 120K DOE Company contribution for employee and dependents for health, dental plan and vision. Group Life and AD&D provided by D3 for employees.
